Antique Vintage Victorian/ Art Deco Beaded Box Purse Description: This vintage Art Deco micro beaded purse is a box shape. Covered in small glass silvery ... more black beads. The beads are set in a circular like pattern, and features a short handle covered in beads. The interior is lined with a pale gray silk, and closes shut with a snap on the flap and front of the purse. Measurements: 4" high at the back. 3" high at the front 6 1/2" long. 3" wide Condition: Very good condition. There are a couple of spots where the beads appear slightly darker than the rest- black covering the fabric that the beads are attached to. There are some beads missing on the very edges/corners of the purse. Particularly in the back corners. There is some fading to the silk interior and a blue ink stain on the fabric inside. Measuring about 4-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches, it is as striking today as it was when it was made. It measures approx 3.25" x 2" with a wrist strap is approx 7" It has a push button opener and a slotted area on the inside. The edge of the slotted area is loose on one side. BEAUTIFUL 1920's ANTIQUE ART DECO GERMAN SILVER MESH PURSE Up for sale is a beautiful 1920's Art Deco Antique German Silver Mesh/Maille Purse. The silver frame has a great etching work with a lovely Edwardian style flower design on the front and the back. There are 5 silver beads embellishing the bottom of the purse. The kiss lock closure closes securely and the chain mesh/maille is intact. The inside frame of the purse is marked GERMAN SILVER. This purse will make a terrific addition to a any vintage purse collection. Overall this silver mesh purse has a beautiful patina and is in excellent vintage/antique condition. It measures 5.25"L x 5.75"H and from top of the chain down to the bottom of the purse 14.25"L. It weighs 8.85oz or 251gr. Beautiful Antique 1920's Flapper Mesh Purse& Coin Case, Marked with EAC Co. Hallmark on both pieces. But no metal content marking. Blue Cabochon Clasp Purse has no holes in the mesh but has come apart where it attaches to the hinges on each side, see pics. 1 of the blue cabochons on the one side is missing, others are all there, on both pieces. The Coin Case has spring loaded clasp and scrolling letters"CMG" on front, inside 2 good coin holders that are spring loaded work fine, one coin frame missing, I will include pieces. Has a hanger for a chain. Both pieces have wear to the goldtone finish, scratches and spots commensurate with their age and use over the years. Has not been cleaned.
